The speaker for March’s program is Tom Hemphill who wrote the book “Diving off the Oregon Coast.” Copies will be available at the meeting if you want to buy one. Eugene Skin Divers also has copies for sale. Both Mike and Diana Hollingshead have known Tom for a long time and can attest to the great information this book provides divers with.
Don’t forget, there’s also still time to sign up for Fort Casey which is from Thursday March 23rd to Sunday 26th. Email Cindy if you are interested. The cost is $85.00 and needs to be paid by March 6th at the meeting (Pay by Check).
Fort Casey is the annual collection of sea animals, run by Seattle Pacific University for the Biology Department. Usually there is diving on the way up and back home. Night dives are also included, which are beautiful.
